Biography

Mary Greeley was born October 15, 1760, in Hudson, New Hampshire, a daughter of Samuel Greeley and Abigail (Blodgett) Greeley. On May 22, 1787, at Wilton, New Hampshire, Mary married Jonathan Cram, Jr. born November 18, 1764, at Wilton, New Hampshire, a son of Jonathan Cram, Sr. and Sarah (Putnam) Cram.

Mary and Jonathan resided at Wilton for many years, and this is where most of their children were born. They moved to Andover, Vermont before the birth of their youngest daughter. Jonathan became a Justice of the Peace, there.

  • Jotham Cram, born August 6, 1790, at Wilton, died September 26, 1865, unmarried
  • Caleb Cram, born April 19, 1793, at Wilton
  • Daniel Cram, born December 27, 1794, at Wilton, died December 15, 1812, at Andover, Vermont
  • Lucinda Cram, born June 10, 1798, at Andover Vermont, died November 8, 1854, married Alexander Weaver on April 2, 1854

Mary (Greeley) Cram died April 11, 1851, in Andover, Vermont, and is buried in the Simonsville Cemetery. [1] Jonathan Cram died October 20, 1857, in Andover, and is buried with her.
