Sir Hender Molesworth, 1st Bt. M, #513653, b. after 1635, d. circa 9 August 1689^[1] Sir Hender Molesworth, 1st Bt. was born after 1635. He was the son of Hender Molesworth and Mary Spark. He married, firstly, Grace Mangyre, daughter of Captain George Mangyre. He married, secondly, Mary Temple, daughter of Thomas Temple, on 12 February 1688/89.^[2] He died circa 9 August 1689. He was buried on 12 August 1689. He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Jamica in 1684. He held the office of President of the Council [Jamaica]. He lived at St. Katherine's, Jamaica. He was created 1st Baronet Molesworth, of Pencarrow, Cornwall [England] on 19 July 1689, with a special remainder to his older brother, John.
