Biography
Joshua was born in 1733. He was the son of Hezekiah Leavitt and Mary Beal.[1]
He married first Deborah Fearing 5 Sep 1753.[1]
He married second Sarah Gilbert 4 Dec 1791.[1]
"Farmer."[1]
Constable 1771; selectman 1772 to 1777; town treasurer for thirty years. "Highly esteemed for his integrity and usefulness in this community."[1]
He passed away in 1825.[1] He is buried in Hingham Center Cemetery.[2]
