From the A History of the Allerton Family in The United States, 1585-1885.... pg.37

Married John Allerton, in Connecticut. "They moved to Norwich, circa 1711-12 and he was one of the first SELECTMEN in 1721. From there they removed to Warrick, Rhode Island, May 1742 He died in Coventry, Rhode Island about 1750...............

His wife Elizabeth, maiden name unknown, survived him many years and removed, with a daughter who married a Mr. Sweet, to the state of New York."
