Biography
Major Grizzard married Lucy Booker 24 September 1825. [1] Note: Her name doesn't say Lucy. It's illegible. Booker is clear though.
Louisa remarries Stansel Wood after Major's death in 1838 and is living with John & Mary Grizzard and 5 Wood children as of the 1850 census. [2]

a Grizzard relative and I have been trying to document the father of a shared relative 'James A. Grizzard' November 30, 1829 (TN) - October 8, 1862 (Perryville, KY). We found a tree from another relative showing 'Major Grizzard' 1797 (NC) - October 8, 1838 (TN) as the father of James A., John (1831 - ?), and Mary Grizzard (1836 - ?). With Major's parents being Ambrose Grizzard III 1797 (NC) - October 8, 1838 (TN) and Edney Tiller (1765 - 1853). I wonder if you have any information on James A. Grizzard as the son of Major Grizzard?
