Biography

Michael aka Mike was born April 10, 1962 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

He is the oldest son of Milton Handy and Doris Smith. Their 2nd child.

Michael joined the Navy when he was 17 he went to Boot Camp in Orlando, Florida. That base was torn down in the 1990's. He was a Boiler Tech. He said he could find more drugs on the Ship he was on than on land.

We were really close up into our 20's. He even planned his leave around my wedding in 1981. So he could be there. The car he drove the Family to my Wedding broke down on the way there. He got out in his Uniform and got under the car to fix it and they all made it on time.

Michael married Shirley Wilding on January 24, 1983 in Orange, Florida. They divorced Apr 25, 1984 in Orange, Florida. They didn't have any children.

Michael later married Lois Jeanette Weidling Dec 11, 1989 in Suwannee, Florida, USA. They divorced on September 7, 1995 Alachua, Florida, USA

They remarried June 1, 1998 in Orange County, Florida.

They had only one child, his name is Travis. He was born in the mid 1990's. Jeanette had 2 children from a former relationship.

Michael died on May 5, 2001 while living in Ocoee, Florida. He was working on a car in Mascotte, Florida at his job at B&T Auto Parts when a jack fell and pinned him under the car. His sister Michelle said she was told at the hospital that he had chewing tobacco in his mouth and strangled on the juices. He died at the scene.

His wife had him cremated. Where his ashes are is unknown at this time. Because she died a few years after him.
