Biography

"From the photocopy of transcribed information of book written by Ruby Noble Roblyer: "John Noble and Mary (Hill) Noble were born in Lincolnshire, England, were married there and some of their children were born in England. They came to Canada in the year 1836, lived on a farm near Ruthvan, Canada, where they both passed away. Mr. Noble served two years in the Rebellion War 1837 - 1838." Referring to John and Mary Noble's children: "All have passed on except Henry, the youngest of the family. He lives in British Columbia.""^[1]

5 children were born in England and 8 in Canada. My gg grandfather Thomas was the last to be born in England. He was 2 months old when they emigrated. Can you imagine crossing the ocean in 1835 with 4 children 8 and under and a baby?
