Biography

Catherine was born October 17, 1807 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Michael Beck and Anne Peeler.

She married Robert Driskell July 17, 1823 in Washington, Indiana. ^[1]

Catherine is included in the household of her husband Robert on the 1830 Washington, Indiana census along with two sons and one daughter. All three children are under the age of 5. Robert's brother Elisha is listed right below him.^[2]

They are enumerated on the Monroe Township, Washington, Indiana census in 1840. Besides Catherine and Robert they now have six sons and one daughter. Their daughter is under the age of 5 which means the daughter listed on the 1830 census must have passed away before 1840.^[3]

The Driskell family are residing in Brown Township, Washington, Indiana in 1850. Catherine is listed as being 44 years of age being born in 1806. They have seven sons and one daughter included in the household. ^[4]
