Johann Hofmann may have been born on 25 Jan 1750 in Vorderweidenthal, Bayern, Deutschland. [1]
John Conrad Hoffman was married in 1781 at Halifax, N.S. to Mrs. Sophia Steinfort Allgood, daughter of Sir John Steinfort, king's commissioner at Halifax, and widow of Col. Allgood, of the British Armby.
They had two children, William and Leonard Hoffman, both born in Halifax; william, September 29, 1782 and Leonard, September 6, 1785. [2]
