The 1880 US Census lists the following household members: Amey Maxwell 48;
John Maxwell 28; Sarah Maxwell 26; Hannah Maxwell 21. Amy (Amie) states she is widowed. (Mathew Alexander Maxwell is not in the household, but did not die until 1904.)
Research note: There is conflicting information r/t Amy Maxwell’s husband on her findagrave site. The site lists an Alexander McCune Maxwell 1824-1905, who was born and died in Virginia as Amy’s husband. More research is needed.
