Frederick Lane was born about 1839. It is unknown where he was born.

Isabella Murison and Frederick Lane married in New Zealand in 1868 ^[1], and had two children:

1. Elizabeth Jane (Lane) Lilburne (1870-1935)
2. Lillian Isabella Lane (1872-1873)

He passed away on the 8th of February 1876 in Lyttleton, New Zealand ^[2] and was buried at Barbadoes Street Cemetery ^[3][4]
