Biography

Phebe Arnold was born at Smithfield, Rhode Island on June 2, 1755, daughter of Seth Arnold and Mary (Cargill) Arnold.^{[1] [2]}

She married Luke Arnold at Smithfield on June 25, 1772. Luke Arnold was born there on August 27, 1738 the son of Thomas Arnold and Amey (Smith) Arnold.^{[1] [2]}

Luke died on October 1, 1817, and is buried in the Friends Burial Ground at Lincoln, Rhode Island.^[3]

His widow Phebe died on September 30, 1822, and is buried with Luke.^[4]
