Rt. Hon. John Staples was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.
Biography
Rt Hon John Staples PC (1736-1820) ((born 1st March 1734 or 1735 or 1736)) was the son of Reverend Thomas Staples and Grace Houston. He m.(1)Harriet Conolly, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Conolly and Lady Anne Wentworth, on 14 June 1764 and (2) Hon. Henrietta Molesworth, daughter of Field Marshal Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount Molesworth of Swords and Mary Jenney Ussher, on 14 October 1774.
He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Antrim and a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]. He died on 22 December 1820 at age 84 and was buried at Lissan Church of Ireland churchyard.
