Biagio Monteleone is born around 1796 in Corleone, the son of Giuseppe Monteleone and Maria di Puma. He is known from the 1811 stato delle anime, in which he appears at age fifteen (b. 1796), living with his mother and stepfather, older sister, step-grandfather, and younger half-siblings on the Piazza Superiore in Corleone.[1]
In the 1812 stato delle anime, every member of Bernardo's family has aged two years since the previous year's record. The family now lives on the strada di Colletto.[2]
Biagio marries Paola Cammarata, daughter of Antonino Cammarata and Antonina d’Anna, on 14 September 1817.[3]
Biagio and Paola have at least one child, Lucia (c. 1821).
Based on her reported age at the birth of one of her children, Lucia is only fourteen when she marries.
Lucia marries Bernardo Marsalisi on 14 February 1841. Her parents have died by this time.[4]
Death
Biagio dies in May 1832 at the reported age of 33 in Corleone after receiving last rites. He is survived by his wife, Paola, and his mother, Maria di Puma, and is predeceased by his father, Giuseppe.[5]
