Sir Thomas Venables [of Kinderton] (b. bef. 1513 - d. 19 Jul 1580).[2][3][4][5]
and Maud, da. of Sir Robert Needham of Shavington, Shropshire.[4]
Katherine was married to Piers or Peter Legh (dvp), son of Sir Piers Legh of Lyme, Cheshire and Margaret Gerard.[1][2]
Notes
"Leigh of Lyme," in Vis. of Chesh, 1580, does not state the place of origin for Katherine's father, but Baines (1836),[2] as well as Hasler (1981),[5] assert that he was of Kinderton, Lancashire.
