Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. immigrated to South Australia in 1971. I have family in England, Scotland and the USA. I am a high school teacher and I enjoy researching my family history when I have time. Not only am I interested in my Campbell line but all those who I am somehow connected with.
I have completed an Ancestry Dna test and hope to one day find my missing GG Grandmother Scotch Jane Campbell who is said to have walked from Scotland to Jarrow carrying her child.
My uncle George Herkless Campbell now deceased, claims he found out his ancestry but I am struggling to find confirmation on this.
