Thomas Adams was born in Humphrey County, Tennessee, in about 1808 (an estimated three years after his brother Samuel), the son of Sylvester and Rebecca (Boyd) Adams.
Thomas married in Humphrey County and then moved to Dallas County, Arkansas.
The name of his wife is unknown, and only one daughter, Susan, is recalled. This branch of the family became separated during the Civil War and nothing further is known.
