Biography

In her father's will dated December 13, 1782 she was called Catherine Covenhoven, to have £40 with all her deceased mothers clothes. [1]

In baptism entry of her daughter Catriena Kouenover her name is given as Catriena Koevert. [2]

Buried at Northern Low Dutch Cemetery, Brush Run, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [3]. Stone Inscription: “In memory of CATY COWNOVER who departed this life July 19, 1822. Aged 71 Y.” [4]
