Obituary

"MCCLENDON - ANDREW JACKSON, 76, died at his home in Evensville, Tenn., early Friday morning. Surviving are two sons, John and Arthur McClendon Evensville; sister, Mrs. Winifred Price, Spring City; half brother, Howard McClendon, Spring City; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Wolf Creek Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., by Rev. John A. Porter. Interment in McClendon Cemetery. Pallbearers, J. A. Holloway, Garland Holloway, Rogers Lemon, Mike McNutt, Monroe Moffett, Harry Barger. Arrangements by Vaughn Funeral Home." Published in The Chattanooga Times June 18, 1950 [1]
