Biography

Polly is probably the nickname for Mary. The Find a Grave record indicates that Mary's children were James and Albert S., which are 2 of the children of Poly and Henry in Norm Fisher's listing. The other children are as follows: William, George Harvey, Frank, and Anna. (Anna married Lewis Bailey, first husband, and later Hiram Finch, second husband.)

According to the following FAG source, Mary Brundage Ellas, b. Unknown, d. 4/18/1836, burial- Pioneer Burial Ground, Bath, Steuben, NY, spouce-Henry Ellas, d/o-James and Mary Brundage.^[1]

According to A Brundage Family Genealogy by Monroe E. Harbage, Poly Brundage's ancestors were as follows: James, Benjamin James, and David, and Polly was b. 10/23/1789. She married Harry Ellas and they had the following children: William, Albert, James George Harvey, Frank and Anna (who married a Bailey).^[2]
