Jacob Blank was born in 1715 in Bolligen, Bern, Switzerland, the child of Niklaus and Magdalena. He married Mary Catherine Beck in 1738 in Bern, Switzerland. They had two children during their marriage. He died on February 20, 1780, at the age of 65.
