Biography

Concetta M. Del Verne, 89, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Bridgeville, Pa.

She was born on June 21, 1918, in Collier, Pa., daughter of Alfred and Teresa (LaFalce) Massimiani.

Her parents, husband, John P. Del Verne and son, James Del Verne preceded her in death.

She was a member of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society.

She enjoyed many years of hard work maintaining her business as a beautician in her homes on Easy and Union Streets while raising her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Del Verne and his wife Mary Jane, Alfred Del Verne and his wife Carol; daughter-in-law, Sharon Del Verne; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
