John Harrison Halford 74, died at his home in Obion, Tn Saturday Jan 24th following a 3 year illness. Mr. Halford was born in Rutherford and lived there most of his life. He had lived in Obion the past 8 months. He was a retired farmer. Services were held at the Bells Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Monday at 2:30 pm by Rev W. T. Wren assisted by Rev. Sam Noel. Burial was in the Bells Chapel Cemetary. Karnes and Son in Charge. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Quincy Halford of Obion, Two sons: Raymond H. Halford of Obion and Malcolm T. Halford of Norfolk, Va. One brother Ira Halford of Rutherford, and 3 sisters
