Biography

Sarah Wade[1] was born in Tennessee or South Carolina about 1820.[2][3]

She married James Harris on 20 Dec 1838 in Blount County, Alabama[1][4][2] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. William[3] Abraham Harris was born in Blount County, Alabama about 1839.[2]
  2. Ephraim Harris was born in Blount County,[5]Alabama in July[6] of 1842[2][3][7] He died in Austin on 26 Jul 1930[8] and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.[9] On 26 Jul 1865 in Blount County, Alabama[10][11] Ephraim married Amanda[11] Amanda "Mandy" Matilda White.[12]
  3. Mary J.[3] Harris was born in Blount County, Alabama about 1844.[2]
  4. James H.[3] Harris was born in Blount County, Alabama about 1846.[2]
  5. George C.[3]Harris was born in Blount County, Alabama about 1849.[2]
  6. John C. Harris was born in Blount County, Alabama about 1853.[3]
