Mowsha was born about 1888.^[1] He was the son of Jankel Dolgin and Bertha Katlarov.^[2]

Max was unmarried when he died in 1910.^[3][4] He was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.^[5][6]
