Biography
When Philena Draper was born on January 3, 1791, in Shaftsbury, Vermont, her father, Nathan, was 24, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 21. She married David Cole on February 26, 1811, in her hometown. They had eight children in 18 years. She died on February 18, 1875, in Hannibal, New York, having lived a long life of 84 years, and was buried there.
