Magnus, the son of Per Månsson and Maria Carlsdotter in Ramshult, was born in Kisa parish 1 April 1769.[1]

Farmer Magnus Persson in Ramshult died from consumption 23 July 1831. His obituary tells us that his father was Per Månsson, who occasionally called himself Per Cassel, a haughty man. His mother was Maja Carlsdotter. 28 years old he married the widow Anna Svensdotter in Örteflod inn. In their marriage they had 8 children, 3 sons and 5 daughters, all still living.[3]
