Tabbitha Francis Cooper was born on 14 December 1856 in Pulaski County, Kentucky[1]. She was the daughter of James Cooper and Mary Johnson (listed as Mary Russell on birth record; Mary was an adopted daughter according to her marriage record to James E. Cooper).
Marriage
Tabitha married Marmaduke "Duke" Brackney on 10 March 1872 in Moultrie County, Illinois[2].
Residence
1870: Tabitha was living with her parents and 4 siblings in Willow Branch, Piatt County, Illinois[3].
1880: Tabitha was living with her husband Duke Brackney and 5 children in Jonathan Creek, Moultrie County, Illinois[4].
Death and Burial
Tabitha died due to consumption on 3 June 1887 in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas[5]. She was laid to rest at Abilene Municpal Cemetery[6]. Her grave is next to the grave of her brother, John C. Cooper.
