David and Eunice Decker were very early settlers on Cape Newagen Island, locating at what has always since been known as Decker's Cove.

He joined the First Church in Boothbay, Maine, in 1766; bought land at the mouth of the Abineesook in West Boothbay in 1767 (Lincoln Co. Deed 8:271); sold land on Cape Newagen Island, now Southport, Maine, in 1771; and in Boothbay in 1800 (Lincoln Co. Deeds 8:65; 45:91).

In 1800, he and his wife were living on Cape Newagen Island.

John, baptized at Portsmouth, 16 Jul 1749; married, intentions at Standish, Maine, 14 Sep 1771, Catherine Hall, who died at Standish, 18 Dec 1834 (g.s. Pudding Hill Cemetery).
Joshua, baptized at Portsmouth, 9 Feb 1752; died at Clinton, Maine, 1820; married at Gorham, Maine, 13 Mar 1773, Susanna Boston of York, Maine.
Abraham, baptized at Portsmouth, 3 Mar 1754; married at Southport, 20 Jun 1774, Ruth Chaples.
Molly, baptized at Portsmouth, 17 Aug 1755.
Thomas, baptized at Portsmouth, 9 Oct 1757; died, 7 Jun 1852; married at Boothbay, 1 Jan 1781, Catherine Fullerton.
