I am a divorced, 56 year old mother of 2 and grandmother of 3. I've been doing genealogical research since approximately 2002.
I've been hoping to beak down the brick wall of my maternal great grandmother Anna Smith. I've done DNA testing at Ancestry, FTDNA, and 23andMe in hopes of finding some connection to her and other ancestors.
I would love to be in the position to visit where my ancestors lived to gather physical evidences of their lives. Hopefully my health will be such that I can fulfill this wish after I retire.
This week we have your last two stops on the guided tour. We want to give you just a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost:
1. How to Manage Your Watchlist
2. How to Dig a Little Deeper
As always, your questions are welcome!

You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer.
Dont hesitate to ask questions as that is the only way we gain knowledge!
Thanks, WikiMessenger Cindy
PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on the bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try sometime!
It's time for the next stop on your guided tour.
This week, we'd like to introduce you to the WikiTree community, including ways to get involved, and how to stay updated on new developments: How to Join in the Community.
I'm always happy to answer questions!

Feel free to contact me via my profile page. I am happy to help!
You are now a confirmed of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering to add your precious family history. We've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members love to help out fellow genealogists, or go in on the Question of the Week: Who are the military heroes in your branch of the tree?
If you need additional help, Contact a Mentor! They're a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree specific problems.
See you in the branches --

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? This is what makes WikiTree different than most other genealogy sites: Our goal is to have one profile per person.
Once you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to fill in your tags to tell us about your genealogical interests.
The Tags are a way for you to connect with other genealogists on WikiTree and follow activity in the topics that interest you. You can learn more on our Tags help page.
Once you click "Save Tag(s) and Volunteer," one of our Greeters will come along to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Welcome to the family! Were really glad youre here.
