Football Career

Geoffrey John Moriarty was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club in the VFA and later the Victorian Football League (VFL), between 1892 and 1907 for 201 games. In 1911 he became the club's Coach for two years. ^{[3] [4] [5]}

Death

He passed away in 1948 at the age of 78 and was survived by his ex-wife and their children Irene (Mrs. Morris), Jack (also a former Fitzroy footballer), Lucy (Mrs. Shillinglaw) and Marie (Mrs. Reed). ^{[6] [7]}
