Biography

Frances was born in 1827. She was the daughter of Charles Butler and Rebecca Graves.

Frances first married a Mr. Giles. She had a son, Charles B. Giles, born in 1846 in Alabama, and a daughter, Mary Giles, born in 1855 in Massachusetts.

Frances R. Butler Giles, age 35, married teamster Daniel Wallace Wells, age 60, on 11 February 1863, in Haverhill, Massachusetts. It was a second marriage for both. ^[1]

In 1865, the family is living in Amesbury, Massachusetts.^[2]

In 1870, the family is in Bradford, Massachusetts.^[3]

She passed away in 1870, at age 43, and is buried in the Union Cemetery in Amesbury, Massachusetts.^[4]
