Biography
Anna was born in 1770 daughter of Samuel Redway, a soldier in the American Revolution, and his wife Abiah Folliet; Anna had a twin sister, Hannah, and she married a twin, George Henry Sumner in 1798 in Bristol, Vermont. They had seven children, Harriet (Newcomb) (1799), Nancy, (1801-1804), John R. (1804-1883), Nancy, (1806-1808),Sidney (1808-1891), Jarvis (1811-1806), Anna (Wall) (1814-1907).
