Biography

Thomas Bean is the son of Richard Bean, (1750-1806) of Brentwood, New Hampshire. On August 21, 1802, in Waterboro, Maine, Thomas married Peggy Smith. They were the parents of at least four sons and probably other children, all born at Waterboro: ^[1]

• John Bean, born 1806, at Waterboro, died 1855 at Waterboro, married Susan (?nee) Bean (1802-1891) both buried at Pine Grove Cemetery

• Joel Bean, born September 12, 1807, at Waterboro, Maine, died June 23, 1846 at Biddeford, Maine, married Louisa Thing, buried at Greenwood Cemetery with his father

• Thomas Bean, Jr.

• Richard Bean, married Mary Poland and resided in Athens, Maine, parents of eleven children.

Because Thomas is recorded on the memory stone of his son Joel in Greenwood Cemetery, a duplicate Find A Grave memorial has been created for him. ^[3] I have contacted the contributor and manager of that memorial, but have no idea whether or not it will be removed. jg July 16, 2017
