Biography

Edgar Julius Wagner was born on March 28, 1858, in South Canaan, Wayne County, Pennsylvania to Adam Wagner and Permelia Schaffer [1][2].

In 1860, Edgar (3) lived in South Canaan, Wayne, Pennsylvania with his father Adam (45), his mother Permelia (43), sister Mary Wagner (22), brother Charles Wagner (20), brother Elijah Wagner (18), sister Eunice (Emma) Wagner (15), sister Sarah Wagner (11), sister Susan Wagner (7) and brother Edward Wagner (3 - unable to find further info for this sibling)[3][4].

In 1870, Edgar (12) lived with his father Adam (54), his mother Permelia (52), brother Charles (29), brother Elijah (27), sister Susan (17), brother Edward (12), brother Judson Wagner (9) and brother Howard Wagner (6)[5][6][7][8].

On September 29, 1894, in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, Edgar (36) married Cora Frisbie (19)[9][10].

In 1900, Edgar (42) lived in Canaan with his wife Cora (26) and their son Adam H. Wagner (4); Edgar worked as a farmer[11][12].

In 1920, Edgar (61) lived with his wife Cora (46); Edgar worked as a teamster[[1]][13].

In 1930, Edgar (72) continued to live with his wife Cora (55) and worked as a farmer[14].

In 1940, Edgar (82) still lived in Canaan with his wife Cora (65)[15].

On December 18, 1943 Edgar J. Wagner (85) passed away; he died of Chronic Myocarditis[[2]] which he had for 10 years; Edgar is buried at the East Canaan Cemetery in South Canaan, Wayne County, Pennsylvania[16][17][18].
