Nathaniel was born in 1782. He passed away in 1864.^[1]

Nahaniel Huse (1316) , 9th child of Doctor John Huse and Ann Webster, was born in Methuen 15 January 1782 and died in Westfield, N. Y., 31 March 1864. He married, first, Elizabeth Sewall of York, Maine, place and date not ascertained. She died, and he married, second, in 1821 or 1822, Olive Beardsley, born in Richfield Springs, N. Y., 7 March 1802, died in Binghamton, N. Y. in 1831.

Reverend Nathaniel Huse graduated at Dartmouth College in 1802, where he was in the class below his cousin Daniel Webster, and became an Episcopal clergyman. He lived in Warehouse Point, Conn.; then successively in Paris Hill, Richfield, Binghamton, Ogdensburg, and Westfield, in New York State. In 1856, he was living in Methuen with his brother William (1315). He died in Westfield, N. Y. in 1864.

Nathaniel Huse retired from the ministry many years before his death because, "his views were so much broader than his church that he felt he could not conscientiously preach."
