Sara (Manson) Bass was born in Rutherford County.

Biography

Sara was born in 1863, the daughter of James Manson and Anna Crockett.

She married Thomas Hartwell Bass just eight (8) days before her father's passing allowing her to remain in her home at 2537 Blackman Road. ^[1] As a child, she had etched her name in the ruby red front door side lights with her diamond ring (since replaced).
