Biography

Arthur was born in the town of Elbridge, Onondaga County, New York in 1844.^[1][2] He was the son of Peter Sands and Sarah Conrow.

He lived with his parents in Racine, Wisconsin,^[3] Elbridge, New York,^[2] and Pleasant Township, Warren County, Pennsylvania,^[4]

He married Henrietta Slye, sometime before the birth of their first child in July 1866. After her death, he married Julia Etta Wilson, a widow.^[5]

He made his home in Warren County, Pennsylvania.^{[6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]}

He passed away at Bear Lake, Warren County, Pennsylvania in 1932.^[1]

He is buried in Bear Lake Cemetery.^[12]
