There are, by various spellings, several persons named Urian de St Pier, some of whom connect to the following line of descent and some of whom do not:
John de St. Pierre. born 1225, St. Pierre & Cheptowe, Monmouthsire, Wales. Married Katherine Dutton
Urian, born 1236, son of John, born 1225, and Katherine Dutton. Married Idumea. This Urian cannot be the Urian de Saint Pierre addressed by Douglas Richardson [1], because (1) the Urian named by Richardson was born in 1279, four years after this Urian appeared, married to Margaret, in a court case, and (2) Richardson's Urian married Iseult de Grey, who survived him, while Margaret survived the Urian here. Neither the Urian who married Margaret not the Urian who married Iseult could have married Idonea Malpas.
Margaret, daughter of Urian St. Pier [Vryon Saynt Peere Esq of Chesiere][2]
Marriage to William Adams
Urian had a daughter Margrett, who married William Adams of Longdon in Com. Salop. [2]
Adams Birth Year Estimation
None of the Adams family appearing in the 1623 Visitation of Shropshire are accompanied by dates. [3]
Therefore working back from the 1561 marriage of Elizabeth Adams to Thomas Sherar, assume she was 16 at the time and born 1545 . If each preceding generation was born at 30 year intervals, the estimated birth years would be as follows. These are very rough estimates, of course, and should be changed when additional dated information must be accomodated.
Sir John Adams of Kent, born say 1305, married Jane Windsor.
