Biography

George “Hank” Copp was born in 1937 in Massachusetts to John Copp and Gladys Hunnewell. He had one younger sister and an older half brother, Johnnie, who died as a teenager.

Hank grew up in Boston and the Malden/Melrose area. ^{[1] [2]}

Hank and his wife raised 4 children in Melrose, Massachusetts, where he worked as a self employed carpenter. Their multi-family home, known as “the compound” was home to many relatives and friends over the years.

Hank died in Massachusetts in 2022 and is buried in Melrose at Wyoming Cemetery. HIs memorial has photos, and a copy of his obituary.^[3]
