Biography
Although no birth record has been located, it is believed Benjamin was born at Freetown in 1733. He married Sarah Evans there when he was about 24 years old and they had the children listed below. [1]
Benjamin served the town in several capacities, including Selectman and Assessor. In 1776 he was also a committee member handling war preparations.[1] He commanded the Freetown Militia as its Captain during the Revolutionary War.[2] He died at age 68 in Freetown.[3]
