Biography

Mary Shook was born on July 13, 1806 in Plainfield Township, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Abraham Shook (1773–1815) and Margaret Hohenchildt (1777–1858).

Mary (18) married Adam Custard (19) (born on September 5, 1805 in Pennsylvania; son of William Custard and Ann Margaret (Sterner) Custard) in 1825. Their son was Samuel Custard (1826–1907).

Mary died on April 4, 1892 in Monroe, Pennsylvania, aged 85. She was buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Bartonsville, Monroe, Pennsylvania.[1]
