Biography

Abel, son of Stephen Curtis and Elizabeth Bishop, was born on 25 March 1722 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut, United States.^[1] He married Freelove Bartholomew about 1741. After her death Abel married Hannah Foster on 7 March 1759 in Wallingford-Meriden, New Haven.^[2]

In the 1790 census, Abel was in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut.^[3]

Abel died on 1 November 1797 and was buried in Broad Street Cemetery, Meriden, New Haven County, Connecticut, United States.^[4] Abel's estate passed probate in 1797 in Wallingford, Connecticut, United States.^[5]
