Vincenzo Jennaco, age 27 (b. 1866), barber, resident of Bracigliano, reports the birth of a child on 10 October 1893 in his home at Via Pero, #8, to Raffaela Sarno, his wife, contadina. The child is a boy and is named Alfonso Francesco. Pietro Jennaco, age 63 (b. 1830), and Ferdinando Corvino, age 60 (b. 1833), contadini, are witnesses.[1]
The record of his death confirms his date of birth.[2] The city of his birth and his father's name are confirmed in the record of his migration.
A margin note on Alfonso's civil birth record dated 17 December 1927 says he marries on 4 May 1921 to Anna Sarno.[1]
Two months later, they immigrate.

Iennaco sits next to him and Resigno translates a newspaper for him. Two more men enter the shop and go to either side of Fiore’s chair. Basile glances into the mirror, sees one man draw a big black gun from under his coat. The newcomer, who is never identified, shoots Fiore. Basile runs out the door, followed by Iennaco.[6]
