Biography

Wellington was born in 1822 and passed away in 1889. He purchased 80 acres Mar 10, 1856 NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 & SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 26 Town 10 N, Range 10 W Ionia County. The next year he bought 80 additional acres Mar 1, 1857; the S 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 26 Town 10 N Range 10 W Ionia County

He was a farmer and operated a wagon repair shop in Cedar Springs He is mentioned as an heir-in-law in the 1879 probate records of his father's estate. He is buried in a unmarked grave at Elmwood Cemetery Cedar Springs Michigan
