James John Archibald was born May 4, 1866 at Restigouche, New Brunswick , the son of Michael Archibald and Jane Cheaters of Quebec[1][2] or New Brunswick[3]
His wife was Jane Robertson Ryan, the daughter of Alexander Ryan and Ella Louise McCallum. Their children included[3][2][4]:
Wesley Alexander, born October 19, 1894[5][3][2], who joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force and died in England in 1918[6][7].
