Research Notes

Notes from FamilySearch.org [5]

Some time in 1842, Abraham was charged with forgery. Joseph, Michael, and Henry Cravens along with James Sampson Winningham posted his $500.00 bond to get him out of jail. Abraham disappeared and never returned. The Cravens and James Winningham were ordered by the court to pay the State of Tennessee with their lands, goods, chattels, and tenements.

Winningham-232 and Winningham-174 appear to represent the same person because: I accidentally created a duplicate for Abraham Winningham. Same parents, same birth date. If you can approve this merge, I am happy to do all the hard work to combine the profiles. Thanks so much.
