Biography

Elisabeths father Christopher Zynth has been fitted with the family name Bure by later generations though he himself never used any family name but Zynth. It is not known if Elisabeth used the Bure name herself. ^[1]

Bure is a well known family with genealogy compiled early 17:th century by Johan Bure with later additions by Johan and others. Sadly there were some fictitious connections made to build the ancestry further back into the Swedish history, and some noblemen added them selves into the tree, feeling the need to belong to a family with roots in an old prominent ancestry. ^{[2] [3]} The older connections are still discussed with people trying to prove the undocumented ancestry. ^[4]

Christopher Zynth himself has been fitted into the Bure family on his paternal side by fictitious connections though he is part of the Bure family on his maternal side. The paternal connection has been disproved by genetics. ^[5]
