Biography

Intermittently homeschooled by Martha Jefferson Randolph at a nearby plantation. He was a genius, degreed at the College of William and Mary, but due to ill health, he turned down a professorship at the University of Virginia. [1]

He is buried at Pen Park-Gilmore Family Cemetery in the City of Charlottesville, Virginia. (Memorial #62906624)
