When Edward Joseph Figueiredo was born on February 12, 1900, in New Bedford, Massachusetts[1][2][3][4], his father, Manuel, was 32 and his mother, Rose, was 25[5][6][7].
He married Alexandrina Correia on May 21, 1927[8]. They had four children during their marriage[9][10]
In about 1935, he moved to Virginia[11][4]. On 20 May 1942, Alexandrina divorced him[8]. He later married E. Florence Figueiredo[12].
He died on July 5, 1972[13], in New York City, New York, at the age of 72, and was buried in Suffolk, Virginia.[12]
